Students
Update your emergency contact information by visiting Student Emergency Contact Update.
You can use our online form to:
- Update your home address, home telephone number, student email address or personal URL
- To restrict display of your student information in the Online Directory
Note: Rutgers may disclose directory information through means other than the Rutgers Online Directory. Learn how to prevent ALL disclosures of your directory information, or contact the University Registrar at:

University Employees
You can use Personal Info to:
- Change work email
- Register your cell phone for RU emergency texts
- Add a personal url
- Include an alternative name on the online directory
You can use RIAS Self Service to :
- Change your home address and phone number
- Change your campus phone number
- Update Emergency Contacts
Note: Employees who are also students may NOT restrict display of required employee information. Work address/Phone Number can not be hidden. Work addresses can only be changed by your department
